Do you have drains that need repairing?

We never shy away from a blocked drain challenge! Unfortunately, blocked drains often come hand in hand with the need for drain repairs.

After clearing the drain and assessing the situation with our custom-designed water jetting technology and CCTV drain camera, we can understand the underlying issue that created the blockage in the first place. If you have reoccurring blockages, we recommend a long term fix as soon as possible to avoid more costly repair work down the track.

First, we look at the usual exterior reasons for blocked drains such as hair, toilet paper, soap scum or tree roots. If it is tree roots, the fix is a little more complex. As trees are alive and continuously growing, the issue will continue reoccurring if they are not fully removed. We strongly encourage our customers to consider removing trees in this scenario to permanently fix the problem and reduce ongoing repair costs.

After pinpointing the damaged area using our high-pressure water jetter and CCTV drain camera technology, we usually offer our customers a couple of choices. We can either dig up the damaged section of the pipe and replace it – or offer the option of trenchless pipe repair. Although trenchless pipe repair is generally more expensive, for many people the benefits outweigh the cost. Trenchless pipe repairs are generally carried out faster, are less disruptive and leave next to no mess. We may also recommend trenchless pipe repair if we are unable to excavate conventionally due to space constraints or if underground cabling is present.

Needless to say, when we are called to deal with drain repairs, we always present our customers with all of the options so they can make an informed choice as to which direction they wish to take.
