This job wasn’t for the faint-hearted. Darius was called out to Kensington, WA to tackle some old, failing drains hidden under a house crawl space. The plan? Undersling the new pipework off the rafters so it’s strong, secure, and easy to access in the future.
The Challenge
Sounds simple enough… until you see the conditions:
•Low, cramped crawl space
•Slimy dirt and old waste lines
•Stubborn old pipes that didn’t want to budge
The Fix
With a few tarps laid out and plenty of patience, Darius got stuck in:
•Crawled under to expose the kitchen and laundry lines
•Wrestled stubborn connections into submission
•Cut in fresh junctions (with some creative offsetting to square them up while lying down!)
•Installed an inspection opening – essential for future servicing
•Added extra clips and supports for a rock-solid system
The Result
What started as a messy, crumbling setup is now a fully compliant drainage system. No shortcuts, no patch jobs – just a professional rebuild that will last.
